The Department of Anesthesia at Erie Shores HealthCare is inviting applications for a Locum Anesthesiologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our perioperative care team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes across a wide range of surgical procedures. Administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery, obstetrics, and other medical procedures. Monitoring patients' vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed during surgery. Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care. Providing pre-operative assessments and post-operative care to patients. Participating in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities.

Qualifications: Applicants must have licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and the ideal applicant to hold CCFP (FP-A) or FRCPC.

About Us: Nestled in Leamington, Ontario, Erie Shores HealthCare is a 72-bed acute care community hospital serving Canada's southernmost region. Our catchment area of 110,000 includes Leamington, Kingsville, Essex, Amherstburg, Belle River, and Wheatley. With a four-bed level II Intensive Care Unit and a three-room Operating Suite, we provide essential services to our community. Our emergency department handles around 30,000 visits yearly. ESHC also has an affiliation with the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and candidates have an opportunity to participate in education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
