Nursing Grants
Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN): Are you passionate about working in Ontario's healthcare sector? The CCPN is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses (RNs) to join community hospitals. Eligible nurses can receive a generous $25,000 grant in exchange for a 2-year commitment to an eligible employer. Learn more about the CCPN here.
Tuition Support Program for Nurses: If you're a recent nursing graduate from a rural or remote community, our Tuition Support Program for Nurses (TSPN) is here to assist you. As a new College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registrant, you can receive tuition reimbursement for choosing to serve in an underserviced community through a return-of-service commitment. Nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and registered practical nurse graduates who apply within one year of graduating from a Canadian University or College are eligible. Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (SPEP): If you're an aspiring nurse seeking valuable experience, the SPEP is a fantastic opportunity. In collaboration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and Ontario Health, this program offers a supervised practice experience in Ontario. It lets you demonstrate your nursing knowledge, skills, judgment, and language proficiency. You may be eligible if you've fulfilled all registration requirements except for evidence of practice or language proficiency. Find out more about the SPEP here.
Student Grants
Learn & Stay Grant: The Learn & Stay grant provides free tuition and books for students pursuing priority programs, including nursing and medical laboratory technology, in priority communities.
