Clerk

Department:

 Emergency/Registration

Status:

Temporary Part Time

Bargaining Unit:

CUPE

Applications are now being accepted for ED/REG Clerk. The successful applicants will be required to work 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 0830-1630, and 2300-0700 Monday – Sunday, including holidays. Full-time has a commitment to work 75 hours per biweekly pay period and part-time has a commitment to work 37.5 hours per biweekly pay period.

Education

  • Diploma in a recognized Medical Administration program or equivalent experience
  • Medical Terminology

Qualifications

  • Keyboarding skills
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office as a minimum
  • StaffRight software experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records software preferred
  • Knowledge of Scheduling Software preferred
  • Customer Service Training preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Good organizational skills
  • May be required to undergo skills and ability testing

Experience

  • Six (6) months related experience preferred
